About Me

I've been working with clay for a number of years,it all started when i enrolled on a ceramics course at Stonehall college in Birmingham, i enjoyed the course so much, but the time i spent there went by so quickly and all i seemed to do was long for my next class. I would regularly take clay home but realised it wasn't easy getting my work back to college without getting damaged, so my tutor arranged for extra classes for myself and a few of the other students which made making and firing a little easier, it wasn't long before i gained my own style and a real passion for working with clay.
My tutor Roy Ashmore was a real inspiration, his help and encouragement made me believe in myself and ultimately gave me the confidence to invest in a kiln of my own.
The dogs and cats i create are my own interpretation of their many different characteristics, their expressions never fail to amuse me, hopefully i have captured this in my work.
Thankyou for taking the time to look.
